Abstract

Kebugaran jasmani merupakan komponen penting bagi kesehatan dan keberhasilan belajar siswa, namun capaiannya pada siswa SMP Negeri 43 Padang belum diketahui secara komprehensif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa ditinjau dari lima komponen: daya tahan kardiorespiratori, kekuatan otot perut, daya ledak otot tungkai, kelincahan, dan koordinasi mata-tangan. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sampel 63 siswa (33 putra, 30 putri) kelas VII, VIII, dan IX yang dipilih menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling dari populasi 319 siswa. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen Tes Kebugaran Siswa Indonesia (TKSI) Fase D, yaitu Beep Test, Sit-Up, Standing Broad Jump, T-Test, dan tes lempar tangkap bola, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif berupa frekuensi, persentase, rata-rata, dan simpangan baku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan daya tahan kardiorespiratori berkategori Baik (74,6%), kekuatan otot perut Sedang (46,0%), daya ledak otot tungkai Sedang (34,9%), kelincahan Baik (49,2%), dan koordinasi mata-tangan menjadi komponen terbaik dengan 87,3% siswa berkategori minimal Baik. Secara keseluruhan kebugaran jasmani siswa berada pada kategori Sedang menuju Baik dengan rata-rata skor komposit 17,70. Kekuatan otot perut dan daya ledak otot tungkai, khususnya pada siswa putri, teridentifikasi sebagai komponen kebugaran jasmani dengan capaian terendah.
