Tinjauan Kemampuan Teknik Pemain Bolavoli Putra SMA Negeri 8 Kota Padang

Abstract

The research problem is that the technical abilities of male volleyball players at SMA Negeri 8 Padang City are not very good. The aim of this research was to determine the technical abilities of male volleyball players at SMA Negeri 8 Padang City. This research is classified as a descriptive research type. The population was all male volleyball players who were actively practicing and numbered 15 people, and sampling used a saturated sampling technique, so the sample size was 15 people. The type of data in the research is primary data, data collected directly by researchers by measuring volleyball technical abilities. Data was analyzed using percentages. The results of research on the technical abilities of male volleyball players at SMA Negeri 8 Padang City out of 15 people found 2 people (13.33%) in the good category, 2 people (13.33%) in the good category, 1 person (6.67%) in the medium category. Furthermore, 4 people (26.67%) were in the poor category and 6 people (40%) were in the very poor category. This means that there are still many male volleyball players at this school who have low volleyball technical skills.
