Abstract

The problem in this research is that the basic technical abilities of the Imam Bonjol Padang Football School (SSB) players are not yet known. Basic techniques in football are fundamental skills and techniquesof football that every football player must master, consisting of; passing and stopping, dribbling, heading and shooting. So the aim of this research is to determine the basic technical abilities of SSB Imam Bonjol Padang football players. This type of research is descriptive. The population in this study was 18 SSB Imam Bonjol Padang players aged 15 years. The sampling technique is total sampling, namely; by including all populations as samples in the research. Thus, the sample in this study amounted to 18 people. To obtain data, measurements were made of fundamental skills and techniquesof football including passing and stopping, dribbling, shooting and heading. Data was analyzed using percentages. The results of the research found that: the basic football technical abilities of SSB Imam Bonjol Padang football players, of the 18 samples, 5 people (27.78%) were in the very good category, 7 people (38.89%) were in the good category and 4 people (22.22%) were in the good category. %) medium category.
