Abstract

The purpose of this study was to profile the basic movement abilities of students at SDN 02 Ampalu, Sutera District, Pesisir Selatan District. This type of research is descriptive involving a sample of 50 male and female students using a total sampling technique. The data in this study are processed using the percentage formula. The results of the study were: (1) The skills of the object control students at SDN 02 Ampalu, Sutera District, Pesisir Selatan Regency on average was in the "Moderate" classification with an average point acquisition of 25.56 points out of the maximum 48 points that should have been achieved. (2) The locomotor skills of the students at SDN 02 Ampalu, Sutera District, Pesisir Selatan Regency, on average, is in the "Good" classification with an average point acquisition of 31.44 of the maximum 48 points that should be achieved. (3) The fundamental motor skills possessed by Ampalu students, Sutera District, Pesisir Selatan Regency, on average, are in the "Moderate" classification with an average acquisition of object control and locomotor skills of 57 of the maximum 96 points that should be achieved
